This site is published by Vyarna OÜ, Tallinn, Estonia (registry code 16524426). Vyarna sells a freeze-dried human milk complement intended for use alongside breastfeeding and formula. More about the company at vyarna.com.
The site exists because most parents end up combining feeding methods — in the US, 86% of babies are breastfed at some point but only 30% are exclusively breastfed at six months (CDC, 2023 birth cohort) [1] — and most of the information written for them is either selling something or telling them they have failed. We wanted a guide that does neither: evidence-led, cited to primary sources, and honest about where evidence is missing.
Our commercial interest is real and is disclosed on every page. How we handle it is set out in the editorial policy.
(CombinationFeeding.com covers deciding between and combining feeding methods. Its sister site, FormulaFeedingGuide.com, covers preparing, choosing and scheduling formula. Both are published by Vyarna OÜ under the same editorial policy.)
